This opportunity is ideal for experienced registered nurses specializing in intensive care units who are ready to contribute in a focused, autonomous setting. You will work primarily night shifts caring for critically ill patients in a 6-bed ICU with a low patient-to-nurse ratio, ensuring high-quality, personalized care with support from a Tele-ICU intensivist consult when needed.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience beyond orientation
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- Ability to float within scope of practice to units such as Medical Cardiology or Med/Surg
- Self-motivated with the ability to practice autonomously
- No pending license acceptance; must have an active nursing license prior to start
- Night shift availability (3x12-hour shifts, 18:45 - 07:15)
- Reliable to return to work within 7 days if needed during the 13-week contract
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital setting
- Collaborate with Tele-ICU intensivist for complex cases and clinical guidance
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system
- Serve as charge nurse relief when required, supporting team operations during shifts
- Adapt to floating assignments within unit scope to meet dynamic patient care needs
