We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position requires a understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and administrative support, as well as experience in outpatient environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Perform intake procedures, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medical regulations.
• Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests, providing clear instructions.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• 2 Years Previous experience in a clinical setting such as outpatient clinics, Level I or II trauma centers, or hospital environments is preferred.
• Certification is a plus but not Required.
• Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks including appointment scheduling and insurance verification.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to family practice.
