Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide in-home services to children and families. This role focuses on supporting children’s independence, regulation, and participation through individualized, strengths-based intervention.

Clinicians in this role embrace flexible, responsive treatment approaches and work collaboratively with families to embed therapy into natural routines and environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to pediatric clients in their homes
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized, functional treatment plans
  • Implement child-led, play-based interventions grounded in sensory integration principles
  • Support development of self-regulation, sensory processing, motor skills, and daily living skills
  • Collaborate closely with parents and caregivers, coaching them to support carryover of strategies
  • Adapt environments and routines to promote accessibility and participation
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with company and payer requirements
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
  • Travel between client homes within designated service area

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Eligibility for or current NBCOT certification

Preferred:

  • Experience in pediatrics
  • Experience or strong interest in sensory integration and neurodiversity-affirming practices
  • Strong caregiver coaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a home health setting
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
