Key Responsibilities
- 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM
- Emergency obstetric care, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Hospital-based obstetrics and emergency department services
- Member of Iowa's only maternity transport team
- Approximately 463 deliveries annually
- About 1,389 visits to the OBED each year
