Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Lakewood, CO. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to regain or improve daily living and work-related skills. The therapist will collaborate with physicians, therapy leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care and accurate documentation in an outpatient environment.

Minimum Qualifications
\n
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor’s or Doctoral degree acceptable if meeting state licensure requirements.
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- Successful completion of the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience performing OT evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and use of modalities in an outpatient setting.
- Experience with documentation compliant with regulatory and facility policies.
- Ability to coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams and to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Preferred Qualifications
\n
- Experience in occupational therapy within occupational health, workers’ compensation, or industrial rehabilitation preferred.
- Experience supporting departmental business or financial duties and assisting with patient tours preferred.

Impacting Patient Care
\n
The Occupational Therapist will perform evaluations, formulate and implement treatment plans, ensure delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintain required documentation. The clinician will support multidisciplinary coordination, communicate effectively across departments, and report department needs and solutions to therapy leadership. Duties may include modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, patient education, securing prescriptions, and collaborating with physicians to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
