DESCRIPTION OF MAIN JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for all aspects of catering up to and including loading equipment on to the truck, driving the truck to the A/C, loading galleys according to customer guidelines, offloading dirty equipment, and placing dirty equipment and trash in designated area
- Other duties assigned by management.
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
- Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
- Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
- Must be able to pass a 10 year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
- Must follow all Ramp, and AOA, Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
- Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
- Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications
- Must have a valid drivers license with a safe driving record
- Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
- Must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must be able to apply safety standards
- Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
- Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays which is subject to change due to shift bidding
