Warehouse Air Freight Specialist/ Forklift Operator Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in air freight operations, a proven track record of reliability, and a high attention to detail. This position requires hands-on experience with freight handling, knowledge of air cargo processes, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Warehouse Air Freight Specialist/ Forklift Operator Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute daily air freight operations, including receiving, inspecting, and processing shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and manage necessary shipping documentation, including air waybills and customs paperwork.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and freight movement.
Warehouse Air Freight Specialist/ Forklift Operator Requirements:
- 2+ years of proven experience in air freight operations.
- Forklift certification and hands-on experience.
- Strong understanding of air freight logistics, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional work ethic.
- Flexible and dependable with a positive attitude.
Warehouse Air Freight Specialist/ Forklift Operator Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with international air freight and customs processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse and freight terminal setting.
- May require standing, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods.
