• End Date: February 16, 2026\n
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (07:00-19:30, 11:00-23:30, 19:00-07:30); every other weekend required\n
• Patient Ratios: 1:5\n
• Charting System: Cerner EMR\n
• Orientation: 36 hours\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910–$1960\n

\n\nER RN Qualifications & Requirements\n

\n
• Active PA or compact state Registered Nurse license\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience\n
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI\n
• TNCC certification preferred\n
• Experience in Trauma Level I or II hospital preferred\n
• Community hospital nursing experience required\n
• Ability to complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting and Childline process promptly\n
• Must complete lab work within 72 hours of contract signing\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities – Emergency Room Registered Nurse\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics)\n
• Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of trauma and medical emergencies\n
• Administer emergency medications and manage acute conditions (STEMI, stroke, seizures, respiratory distress, multisystem organ failure)\n
• Utilize advanced clinical skills: IV insertion, central line care, chest tube management, intubation, procedural sedation\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response)\n
• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)\n
• Participate in rotating shifts and provide weekend coverage as scheduled\n
• Adhere to infection control, isolation precautions, and hospital policies\n
