Job DescriptionAudiologist – Veteran Disability Evaluations
We are looking for a committed Audiologist to join our organization in conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits assessment process. In this position, you will examine the Veteran's medical history, which will be accessible through a secure online portal, prior to administering a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Following this, you will fill out a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal to create the necessary medical documentation for the VA to assess the Veteran’s eligibility for benefits.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
- Examine and interpret electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
- Thoroughly document examination results and complete the required VA paperwork.
Note: This position does not include prescribing medical treatments or devices. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is responsible for making disability determinations, not the provider.
Position Overview:
- Schedule: Part-Time, 3 days a week (Tuesday to Thursday, 8 or 10-hour shifts)
- Location: In-person role.
- Caseload: Average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
- Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

Qualifications:
- Possesses an Au.D. and has graduated from an ASHA Accredited Institution.
- Holds a valid license as an Audiologist.
- Comfortable utilizing technology for record review and documentation.
