Role Responsibilities
As a Hand Orthopedic Surgeon, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for conditions affecting the foot and ankle, including trauma, sports injuries, deformities, arthritis, and complex reconstructive needs.
- Performing various foot and ankle surgeries, such as arthroscopy, fracture management, tendon and ligament repairs, ankle replacements, and minimally invasive techniques.
- Creating personalized treatment plans that encompass both surgical and non-surgical options.
- Interpreting diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Collaborating with orthopedic colleagues, physical therapists, podiatrists, and other specialists to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited Medical School
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- An active Medical License in New York
