Job Description
The Plant Manager is responsible for overall production and continuous improvement activities for the site in Chittenden County, Vermont. This position will provide a high level of leadership for the employees and drive the overall performance while ensuring a safe work environment, profitable growth, and employee development. This role serves as the senior operational leader for the facility, with full ownership of manufacturing performance, maintenance, safety, quality, and financial results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all plant operations
- Deploy & sustain Lean principles, including standard work & waste elimination
- Maintain accountability for output, capacity planning, and operational execution
- Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements
- Direct P&L ownership (approx $50M), driving financial improvements at a minimum of 10% YOY
- Build a high-performing workforce through coaching & a "lead from the front" leadership approach
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
- 8+ years manufacturing site leadership experience
- Proven success in Lean manufacturing environments
- MTO metal fab experience strongly preferred
