Primary Purpose of Position:
Acts in a senior management role to ensure Human Resource functions are performed at superior operational levels. Key functional areas include staffing, legal compliance, policy development, employee performance, safety, training, and compensation & benefits.
This role is responsible for the overall employee experience from an HR perspective.
Requirements:
Essential Functions:
- Manages the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Ensures job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all internal, local, state and federal regulations.
- Manages the job performance and evaluation process, develops training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities, receive regular evaluations and corrective actions..
- Manages and maintains compensation strategy for all employees based on company policy, market research and pay surveys.
- Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
- Manages the health insurance & benefits package.
- Ensures the organization's compliance with internal, local, state and federal regulations.
- Participates in management meetings and strategic sessions to help drive initiatives.
- Effectively manages job stress and interacts with others effectively in the workplace
- Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
Minimum 5 years in Human Resources Management position.
Reporting:
Direct Report to VP of HR with dotted line to General Manager
Works directly with other employees in a team environment
Works with all divisions in problem solving and production improvements
