The Role
You will be a key member of our team reporting to our Operations & Sales Departments and be responsible for delivering our product to customers daily and representing Abstract Ice out in the trade.
The ideal candidate is motivated & hardworking, with excellent interpersonal skills. Must thrive in a start-up environment where you will wear multiple hats and every day may look a little different. Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to do whatever it takes to make a positive impact will lead to success in this role.

Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
- Current Oregon Driver’s License & clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior delivery experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate delivery of products to assigned routes including bars, restaurants, and retail accounts in the Portland Metro Area.
- Merchandise, re-stock, and do general quality control of retail freezers.
- Coordinate onsite invoicing with accounts.
- Act as the face of Abstract Ice while making deliveries, always behaving in a professional, courteous, and kind way to exemplify the values of Abstract Ice.
- Work closely with our Sales Department: communicating customer feedback or needs to the team and helping to identify opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety standards set by Abstract Ice and OSHA as well as all food safety standards set by Abstract Ice and the FDA while working in plant.
- Clean and maintain delivery van.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Role requires walking, standing, and / or driving for more than 90% of the work day.
- Ability to reach, kneel, stoop, climb, walk, push, pull, lift & lower weight of up to 60 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezing conditions for extended periods of time.
- Must be comfortable driving a large cargo / sprinter van.
- Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including overtime, holiday work, and weekends as required for a start-up organization.
