Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity where you’ll make a difference as a Special Education Teacher, working with elementary-aged students in a supportive and collaborative environment. Two immediate openings are available for passionate educators ready to provide dedicated, individualized instruction. This onsite position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, supporting a manageable caseload of 15 students or fewer.

In this role, you’ll deliver evidence-based instructional strategies to help students meet their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals. Your expertise will be vital in fostering an inclusive atmosphere and collaborating closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families. Occasional after-school meetings will be held, always planned in advance so you can maintain your work-life balance. There is a high level of urgency to fill these positions, with the potential for the role to extend into the upcoming school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience teaching or supporting students with disabilities, preferably at the elementary level
  • Familiarity with developing, implementing, and tracking IEPs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and building positive student relationships

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering specialized instruction to meet IEP objectives
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting interventions as needed
  • Collaborating with staff, parents, and service providers
  • Participating in IEP meetings and professional development
  • Maintaining accurate records and upholding compliance standards

This is your chance to make a positive impact in a welcoming school community while furthering your experience in special education. If you’re ready to begin as soon as possible and help students thrive, submit your application today and be considered for this rewarding and urgent opening.

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.93 to $46.93. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
