Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A role is available for a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician committed to delivering high-quality imaging services within a collaborative healthcare setting. Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists and imaging teams in performing cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently and safely under guidance, ensuring high-quality diagnostics.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging studies.
- Adhere to established protocols and standards for timely study completion.
- Utilize EMR systems such as Medhost and MacLab for accurate patient documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or ARC.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Knowledge of cardiac imaging procedures and cath lab operations.
- Ability to provide one-on-one patient care with a focus on safety and accuracy.
- Competent in using electronic medical records and catheterization lab equipment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Call every other week with a maximum response time of 3 days.
- No 48-hour shifts or block scheduling.
