We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Fence and Guardrail Laborer's to join our construction team. This position requires a class A CDL. This role involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial fencing and guardrail systems across various project sites. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to high-quality infrastructure projects. Prior experience in construction or fencing is a plus but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the construction industry while working on diverse projects that enhance safety and security for commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of commercial fences and guardrails according to project specifications and safety standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for fencing and guardrail installation
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, measuring, and marking areas for installation
- Load, unload, and organize materials and supplies needed for daily tasks
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members
- Support team members in lifting, positioning, and securing fencing materials and guardrail components
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate and follow instructions from supervisors and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Prior experience in construction, fencing, or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively
- Valid driver’s license is required for traveling between job sites
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced construction setting
