Job DescriptionSalary:

WOCAP, a local non-profit organization, is seeking qualified candidates fora Floating Teacher. This position is a 40 hours per week, 9 months a year.
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and educating each Child Development Services child to their fullest potential byutilizing the latest curriculum.
2. Making weekly lesson plans and daily planning.
3. Assist the children & families by ensuring coordination, facilitation, identification, enrollment, andprovision of individual services in accordance with Child Development Services PerformanceStandards, licensing regulations, and WOCAP policies & procedures.
4. Ensure that all children receive required health related services by connecting them to resources,providing follow-up support services and identifying and removing barriers to needed services. Thisincludes expectations to transport families to appointments, report difficulties to supervisors inwriting, and ensuring follow-up within 30 days.
5. Float positions require moving between classrooms as needed per day, including traveling toanother site to perform the same responsibilities as needed.
Requirements include:
MUST be able to pass drug screen and background check.
Candidate must possess High School Diploma or GED. MUST have an AA degree inEarly Childhood Education OR valid CDA AND be enrolled in a program that grants aqualifying associate or higher degree in Early Childhood Education/related field, andthe required coursework and experience, to be completed within three years.
Certifications in Child Abuse & Neglect, Communicable Disease, CPR, and First-Aidmust be maintained.

Valid Ohio driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and privately-owned vehicle
during working hours preferred. Ability to check electronic mail, entering data into
program-specific software for required reports, and Internet skills required.
