Your Role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
In this vital position, you will:
- Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports
- Verify bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries
- Drive tractor-trailer to destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
- Maintain driver logs according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts and product temperatures
- Unload trailers and deliver products into customer premises
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications You'll Bring:
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient for job-related tasks
