\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience\n
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state RN license\n
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)\n
- One supervisory reference in Med/Surg Tele specialty (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)\n
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
- Negative 10-panel drug screen (including nicotine) within 12 months of start date\n
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting completed within 48 hours of contract signing\n
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation\n
\n\nMed/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities\n

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit\n
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records\n
- Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions\n
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols\n
