Job Description
This manufacturing position involves operating semiconductor-processing equipment in a cleanroom environment. The manufacturing operator is responsible for meeting daily production goals in support of cleanroom fabrication operations. The areas of concentration include photolithography – both coat/develop and pattern exposure – pattern transfer via both wet and dry etching techniques, substrate cleaning via wet chemistry, metrology, and other semiconductor processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate manually- or computer-controlled equipment to meet production and quality goals.
- Set up and operate complex manual and computer-controlled equipment.
- Work constructively with other team members to process wafers and optical components.
- Utilize computer software to track operational performance and make minor corrections to improve productivity.
- Follow quality management procedures and identify quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Multitask to perform other required duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word computer applications.
- Ability to perform light lifting and carrying duties, and to sit and/or stand for an extended period of time (3-5 hours).
- High-school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Microscope experience.
- Electronics Assembly.
- Computer Experience (excel/word).
- Clean Room experience is a plus.
- Previous manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment.
- Manual dexterity and ability to learn complex machinery.
- Willingness to learn.
- Soldering, circuit boards, computer chip, water fab, semiconductor manufacturing, and semiconductor component experience.

Work Environment
Employees will work in a cleanroom environment, wearing head-to-toe cleanroom 'bunnysuits' and periodically using/handling up to 1 gallon of chemicals (acid/base/solvents) while wearing personal protective equipment. Duties require the maintenance of cleanliness through the use of cleanroom suits, hoods, shoe covers, and gloves. Shifts are 6am-6pm/6pm-6am with guaranteed 8 hours of overtime pay every other week. Breaks include three 30-minute intervals, which can be combined for a longer lunch. An onsite cafeteria and breakroom with small lunch/snack choices are available.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $24.15/hr.
