Provide skilled nursing care as a Registered Nurse, delivering quality, patient-centered services to diverse age groups in a clinical setting. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain a safe and efficient care environment in accordance with unit standards
- Demonstrate clinical proficiency appropriate to the patient age group served
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and staff
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality throughout care delivery
- Navigate dynamic work schedules and respond effectively to emergencies
- Manage physical demands including patient transfers and extended periods of standing
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- NRP certification required and must be maintained without grace period
- Knowledge of patient care practices sensitive to developmental stages
- Ability to handle bloodborne pathogen exposure and work in a smoke-free environment
- Skills in manual dexterity, coordination, and visual and auditory acuity
Schedule and Type
- Dayshift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Contract position with immediate start
Physical Requirements
Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks including lifting, transferring patients, and sustained standing/walking.
