Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A speech-language pathologist with expertise in pediatrics is needed for an elementary school setting in Portland, OR. This contract position covers a maternity leave and runs from August 25 to March 4, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or currently completing CFY
- Knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices
Location:
- Elementary school in Portland, Oregon
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to students
- Assess and evaluate students speech and language development
- Develop and implement treatment plans appropriate for school-aged children
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
