Currently, we have a Financial Assistance Specialist opportunity with a leading nonprofit healthcare provider committed to transforming care and empowering patients across Texas. The role will be Hybrid (onsite 1 day and 4 days remote)

Your specific duties will include:

  • Supplier Record Management – Oversees supplier record creation and maintenance with precision, ensuring accuracy through thorough document review and validation.
  • Detail-Oriented Process Adherence – Grasps and meticulously follows established procedures quickly, maintaining consistency in execution.
  • Communication Excellence – Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, efficiently managing a high volume of emails (100+ daily) while clearly outlining next steps.
  • Analytical & Critical Thinking – Proficient in purchase order (PO) and invoice matching, identifying discrepancies and determining appropriate resolutions.
  • Conscientious Documentation & Follow-up – Maintains records with clarity and precision, promptly following up on action items and prioritizing urgent requests for swift completion.
  • Proactive & Responsive Engagement – Ensures timely responses to inquiries and proactively provides updates to maintain transparency and workflow efficiency.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Pay Rate Range: $22.00 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
