Law: Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP seeks Associate in NY, NY to engage in variety of legal activities rel. to law of employee benefits & exec compensation, incl benefits issues connected w/corp. takeovers, sales, & initial public offerings. Req'mts: JD or foreign equiv & 3 yrs of exp in job offered or rel. occupation: practicing Exec Compensation law; working on corp. legal transactions for domestic & int'l clients, incl entity formation, joint ventures, priv asset or equity acquisitions & public M&A transactions; drafting, negotiating & finalizing docs in connection w/Exec Compensation transactions & agreements; conduct legal due diligence of exec compensation arrangements in connection w/M&A transactions; conducting extensive legal research into questions of employee stock-ownership transaction & rel. issues; & reviewing purchase agreements & identifying material issues w/respect to exec compensation & employee benefit aspects of M&A transactions. Offered salary is between $390,000 & $435,000/yr. 40 hrs/wk. Must be admitted to practice law in NYS. Telecommuting &/or work from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
