We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team on a contract basis in the Crafton/Greentree area, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely individual tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Utilize Relevant Tax Software to effectively manage and process tax documents.

• Review client-provided information to ensure completeness and accuracy of tax filings.

• Identify potential deductions, credits, and tax-saving opportunities for clients.

• Consult with clients to gather necessary financial data and address tax-related concerns.

• Stay updated on current tax laws and changes that may impact individual filings.

• Collaborate with team members to handle complex tax scenarios and ensure high-quality service.

• Resolve discrepancies and provide clear explanations regarding tax computations.

• Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive client information.

• Ensure all deadlines are met during the busy tax season.

• Proven experience in individual tax preparation, including filing and reviewing returns.

• Proficiency in using Relevant Tax Software for tax-related tasks.

• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints during peak tax season.

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tax documents.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and address their concerns.

• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

• Previous experience in a seasonal or contract tax preparation role is preferred.
