PCB Electronics Technician

Pay Rate: $22-25/ hour

Location: Coventry, RI

Duration: PERM

Shift: 1st

– 7am-330pm

  • Direct hire opportunity

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience

  • Must have good longevity in previous roles

  • 1st

    shift position

  • Must have PCB TESTING experience.

  • Strongly preferred IPC training

  • Soldering exp required

  • Full background and drug screen required (Marijuana IS a disqualifier)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PCB Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team in Coventry, RI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Responsibilities

  • Assemble and solder PCB components according to specifications and schematics.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of PCBs to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering stations.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of assembly and testing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in PCB assembly and soldering techniques.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and circuit design.
  • Familiarity with testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
