- Unit: Clinical Resource Team, Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit\n
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025, End: 2/9/2026)\n
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
- Patient Ratio: 1:6-7 (nights)\n
- Scrubs: Black or Navy Blue\n
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2090\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required\n
- Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois or Iowa\n
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)\n
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply\n
- Must live more than 50 miles from the hospital (Illinois travel nurse requirement)\n
- Updated work history/resume\n
- Completed skills checklist (within 1 year)\n
- RN license verification\n
- Copies of required certifications\n
- One supervisory reference\n
- Proof of taxable address\n
\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

- Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
- Manage a patient load of 6-7 during night shifts\n
- Collaborate with Patient Care Technicians and other healthcare professionals\n
- Float within the Med/Surg discipline across local Rock Island campuses as needed\n
- Document patient care using EPIC EMR system\n
- Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment\n
