Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational setting in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential support to students throughout the school year. This contract role is ideal for professionals with experience in pediatric occupational therapy and a passion for helping children develop critical fine and gross motor skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of students with diverse physical and developmental challenges.
  • Conducting assessments and creating individualized intervention plans to improve fine motor skills (e.g., handwriting, dexterity) and gross motor skills (e.g., coordination, balance).
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress.
  • Documenting student progress and updating therapy plans accordingly.
  • Ensuring compliance with all school and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with experience working in school-based or healthcare settings.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices, especially related to fine and gross motor skills development.
  • Experience with school-based therapy preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of K-12 student needs and educational environments.
