Pay Rate: $34.84 per hour

Scope of Work:

The Production Control Clerk compiles, analyzes, and maintains production and operational data to support efficient workflow, resource planning, and reporting. This role ensures accurate tracking of production activities, materials, labor hours, and work orders in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and record production data from source documents such as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and employee production reports.
  • Utilize automated systems and data processing tools to track and maintain production information.
  • Calculate and track key production metrics, including labor hours, material usage, and work performed.
  • Prepare reports summarizing production volume, material consumption, quality control, and other operational data.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records in accordance with company and contract requirements.
  • Generate detailed work tickets based on customer requirements and technical specifications to support maintenance and service activities.
  • Develop and distribute work schedules based on established priorities and operational needs.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and operations personnel to ensure timely and accurate execution of work assignments.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in production control, administrative support, logistics coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately compile and analyze data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or automated data processing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production documents.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in a government contract or industrial/maintenance environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance (Secret or higher, as required by site).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed in an office or administrative setting with extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and using standard office equipment.
  • May require occasional standing, walking, bending, or lifting of light materials (up to 25 pounds), such as files, records, or office supplies.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and accurately input and review data for extended periods.
  • May require interaction with maintenance or operational areas, including exposure to industrial environments, noise, and equipment, with appropriate safety precautions.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including occasional extended hours, to meet operational requirements.
