Wholesale Batteries is experiencing growth servicing their clients emergency power applications. Our service provides solutions for many critical power industries that customers have come to expect from Wholesale Batteries. Duties & Responsibilities
Install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on customers equipment to include VRLA batteries, wet batteries & chargers. This is a hands-on position that usually consists of lifting up to 100lbs. Responsible for maintaining readiness and accountability of company assets to include service vehicle, parts inventory, test equipment, and tools. Ability to articulate procedures and methods with team members and customers. Must be able to identify and respond to potential customer growth opportunities and contribute to generating revenue. Provides the highest quality level of service possible to ensure safety and meet customer expectations. Responsible for reporting all activities to include service reports, expense reports, quality alerts, and maintenance reports. 40-50% travel is required - home most weekends.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Computer literacy - basic Knowledge of Microsoft and internet
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience working with hand & power tools
- Able to solve simple math formulas and do basic math
- Able to read and comprehend manuals, procedures, and other written documents in English.
Driving Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
- Have a valid drivers license and a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations.
- Able and willing to drive to customer sites.
- Able and willing to drive a forklift truck.
- Must be able to do overnight travel.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand long periods of time and frequently bend and twist.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with repetition.
Environment
While performing duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to the risk of electrical hazards, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the environment is moderate and occasionally may be loud. Working spaces are moderate and sometimes limited working closely with others or individually.

Benefits information for this position includes an hourly rate $20-$25 DOE, annual performance reviews, company paid cell phone, 100% paid health insurance for employee, 2-week vacation for first year of service after 60-days of employment, generous 401k retirement contribution & matching eligibility after one full calendar year of service, and performance-based year-end bonuses.
