Validation Engineer | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation protocols for manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Document all validation activities, including protocol execution, deviations, and final reports.
• Identify and assess validation risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO).
• Maintain and update validation documentation and databases.
• Participate in change control processes for validated systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.

Recommended Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Science) or a related scientific field.
• - Proven experience in validating manufacturing processes, equipment, and software within a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceutical, medical device, food & beverage).
• - Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11), and relevant industry standards.
• - Experience developing and executing validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) and generating comprehensive validation reports.
• - Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies (e.g., FMEA) applied to manufacturing processes.
• - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and methodologies.
• - Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, ISO).
• - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for test automation.
• - Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) software.
• - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in validation.
