We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Specialty Pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing phone calls, coordinating refills, and triaging calls, as well as handling production tasks such as filling, packaging, and shipping medications. This role requires a strong background in various pharmacy settings and the ability to multitask and manage responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Phone Calls and Refills: Manage incoming phone calls, coordinate refill requests, and ensure timely processing of refills.
• Triage Phone Calls: Efficiently triage phone calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
• Production Tasks: Perform production tasks including filling prescriptions, packaging medications, and shipping them out.
• Variety of Experience: Utilize experience from specialty, inpatient, and outpatient pharmacy settings to enhance service delivery.
• Management Experience: Leverage management experience to handle multiple tasks, scheduling, and taking on responsibilities effectively.

Must Haves:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
• Familiarity with insurance processing and inventory management.
• USP Knowledge
• Familiarity with various pharmacy settings and practices
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Can NOT have purely retail pharmacy experience

Plusses:

• Experience in specialty pharmacy settings is highly desirable.
• Previous management or leadership experience
• Epic and/or Willow Ambulatory Experience
