Job DescriptionAdelphi is seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide services at an Educational Institution in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidates will collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists and school staff to deliver therapy services to students while ensuring adherence to educational guidelines, individualized education plans (IEPs), and professional standards of practice

Requirements:
• Active NC Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license(Must be in good standing)
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing speech therapy services
• Experience working with children in educational settings is a plus
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation


Responsibilities:
• Provide in-person speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP in accordance with IEP goals and school policies
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support students with speech, language, fluency, and social communication needs
• Conduct student observations and administer simple screeners to assess speech-language therapy needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school professionals to reinforce communication strategies in the classroom
• Assist in creating therapy materials and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools to support student development
• Maintain accurate therapy documentation, including session notes and progress tracking
• Follow the guidance and recommendations of the supervising SLP to ensure best practices in therapy service delivery
• Travel between multiple school sites as needed (travel time is counted towards total work hours)
• Perform additional speech-language therapy-related duties as required by school administration
