Scope of Work:
Oversee the full scope of work control operations, including the intake, prioritization, assignment, and closeout of service orders, estimates, subcontracts, and job orders to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and government representatives regarding work order status, scheduling conflicts, and customer service needs.
- Manage day‑to‑day work control operations for facilities maintenance activities using NAVFAC Maximo and contractor Maximo systems
- Receive, review, validate, and prioritize service requests and work orders in accordance with contract requirements and customer priorities
- Dispatch maintenance technicians and subcontractors, ensuring proper skill alignment, response times, and work order assignment
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long‑range maintenance schedules for both recurring and non‑recurring work
- Plan, coordinate, and track preventive maintenance (PM) activities to ensure timely execution and compliance
- Create, update, and refine preventive maintenance plans, frequencies, and task lists within Maximo
- Maintain accurateassets, equipment, and property records, including updates to asset hierarchies, locations, and condition data
- Ensure work order documentation is complete, accurate, and closed out properly in Maximo, including labor, materials, and completion notes
- Coordinate with facilities management, engineering, and operations teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and maintenance priorities
- Monitor work order status, backlog, and performance metrics, and provide reports to leadership and the customer
- Ensure compliance with NAVFAC requirements, contract standards, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices
- Support audits, inspections, and assessments by providing system data, maintenance records, and asset information
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five(5) years of relevant experienceinproduction controlormaintenance coordination, including specialized work in government contracting.
- The position also requires an interfacewithmany technical/facilities maintenance issues with the customer. As such, knowledge of various preventive maintenance models is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management or related fieldpreferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must hold and maintain a Tier3 (Secret) government securityclearance, as required for the position.
- Must be able to maintainthe ability to access thegovernment worksite.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or desk.
- Frequent use of hands for typing, data entry, and handling paperwork.
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, andextendedshift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
