A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in providing specialized care within educational settings. This role involves supporting students in a classroom environment, ensuring their health and medical needs are met throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care to a group of seven students, ages 3-15, with complex medical needs
• Manage care for students who are wheelchair bound, assisting with mobility and positioning
• Administer and monitor ventilator support, ensuring safety and responsiveness
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized health care plans
• Respond to medical emergencies and routine health concerns within the classroom setting

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Experience working as a classroom nurse, ideally in elementary, middle, or high school environments
• Proficiency in ventilator support and care for students with respiratory challenges
• Ability to provide compassionate, attentive 1:1 care to pediatric patients with complex needs
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
