Job DescriptionMachine Operator
We are seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position operates a horizontal bandsaw cutting materials for CNC production.
In addition to saw operation, this role may support general CNC production and finishing operations. This is a hands-on position requiring precision, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Our products are used in electrical power distribution equipment, so quality and accuracy matter. Schedule1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Position Responsibilities
Operate a horizontal bandsaw to cut stock to production specifications
Read and interpret work orders and production documents
Select proper materials based on job requirements
Measure and verify cut dimensions to ensure accuracy
Perform basic machine setup and adjustments
Conduct quality inspections of finished cuts
Additional Production Support May Include:
Load raw materials or parts into preset CNC machines
Operate CNC equipment for basic production runs (no programming required)
Sandblast components as required
Buff and finish parts to meet quality standards
Assist with material handling and staging of jobs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs
Qualifications
Minimum 1+ year experience operating saws, CNC equipment, or similar production machinery
Experience with horizontal bandsaws or panel saws preferred
Basic CNC machine operation experience preferred (loading/unloading parts)
Ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
Forklift experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Ability to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Standing for extended periods
Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling
Overtime as required based on production demands
