Position Title: Plant Human Resources Manager
Location: On-Site – Macon, MO
Relocation Assistance: Full support provided (MUST BE OPEN TO RELOCATION)
Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations. This role is pivotal in driving cultural transformation, stabilizing operations, and restoring performance at a plant that significantly impacts several flagship brands.
You will be responsible for strategic HR leadership, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. You’ll oversee a team of 2 HR Generalists and 2 HR Specialists, and serve as a key partner to plant leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Lead cultural reset and HR strategy to improve plant performance and employee engagement

Oversee employee relations, investigations, and compliance with EEOC, ERISA, and DOL regulations

Drive talent management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives

Manage compensation and benefits administration, including market pricing and labor law compliance

Serve as the primary HR contact for all plant-related matters, including emergency response

Maintain a strong daily presence on the plant floor to foster trust and visibility

Provide guidance and mentorship to HR team members
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment (500+ employees)

Union experience strongly preferred

Proven expertise in employment law, employee relations, and HR compliance

Strong background in compensation, benefits, and organizational development

Ability to lead through change and drive strategic improvements in a challenging environment
Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
