Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRT (New Mexico licensure) required.
  • American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist ARMRIT required.
  • BLS Certification is required at the time of hire.

For Registered Technologist Trainees/Apprentices:

  • PMRT (Provisional NM licensure) required.
  • American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. (R) (ARRT) required.
  • Successful completion of ARRT(MR) Boards within two years of hire.

Your Responsibilities

As an MRI Technician, you will:

  • Instruct patients on MRI procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and calibrate equipment as needed.
  • Obtain and produce high-quality images, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform quality assurance on MRI equipment.
  • Maintain clinical supplies and conduct physical inventories.
  • Provide guidance to staff and students in MRI procedures.
  • Adhere to established policies, safety standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Engage in professional development through seminars and workshops.

Compensation: Maximum offer for this position is up to USD $52.95. Please note that the compensation range considers various factors, including experience, training, and organizational needs.
