Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate Degree preferred.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRT (New Mexico licensure) required.
- American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist ARMRIT required.
- BLS Certification is required at the time of hire.
For Registered Technologist Trainees/Apprentices:
- PMRT (Provisional NM licensure) required.
- American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. (R) (ARRT) required.
- Successful completion of ARRT(MR) Boards within two years of hire.
Your Responsibilities
As an MRI Technician, you will:
- Instruct patients on MRI procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Select appropriate imaging techniques and calibrate equipment as needed.
- Obtain and produce high-quality images, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform quality assurance on MRI equipment.
- Maintain clinical supplies and conduct physical inventories.
- Provide guidance to staff and students in MRI procedures.
- Adhere to established policies, safety standards, and compliance regulations.
- Engage in professional development through seminars and workshops.

Compensation: Maximum offer for this position is up to USD $52.95. Please note that the compensation range considers various factors, including experience, training, and organizational needs.
