Job Title: Low Voltage Electrician Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Electrician to join our team as a technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, with a primary focus on fire alarm and security systems in commercial and industrial settings. This individual will also be required to complete installation work.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and other low voltage systems such as security and access control.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Pull, terminate, and label low voltage wiring and cabling.
- Program and configure fire alarm control panels and related devices.
- Perform inspections to ensure systems comply with local codes.
- Troubleshoot and repair system faults and malfunctions.
- Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in low voltage electrical work, preferably in fire alarm systems.
- Working knowledge of codes.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to provide own tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
- Capable of working in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Work with low voltage and high voltage is accepted but not required.
- Specific industry training will assist with higher pay rate.
- Experience in conduit, schematic, cable, power tool, pulling wire, installation, construction, repair, low voltage, fire alarm system, and security system.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
