Integrity Trade Services is currently hiring for an Electronics Engineering Tech for our client in Lockport, IL.
1st shift-Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm - MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR OVERTIME
Pay is between $30 and $40

MUST PASS AN ELECTRICAL-MECHANICAL APTITUDE TEST.

a worldwide leader in safety and electrical test equipment, high-speed data acquisition, and metrology solutions, is looking for an experienced Electronics Engineering Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver with expertise in troubleshooting electronic systems and circuit assemblies. You will play a key role in product testing, calibration, repairs, and customer support.
What You’ll Do:
Troubleshooting & Repairs

  • Use schematics, oscilloscopes, and other test tools to diagnose and repair PCB assemblies down to the component level.
  • Perform final assembly, calibration, and testing of Electrical Test & Measurement equipment.
  • Repair, test, and calibrate customer units returned for service.

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate production records, including repair logs and inventory tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality control processes.

Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, production, and purchasing teams to support product improvements and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
? Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical and electronic theory.
? Troubleshooting Skills: Experience in reading schematics & diagnosing circuit assemblies.
? Hands-On Experience:

  • Skilled in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
  • Proficiency with standard manufacturing processes and software applications.
    ? Assembly & Soldering: Ability to work with hand tools, SMT soldering, and de-soldering (preferred but not required).
    ? Teamwork & Communication: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support.
    ? Detail-Oriented & Organized: Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines.

What You'll Bring:
Education: 2-year degree in electronics or equivalent military training.
Experience: 2+ years of troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems.
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and performing tests/calibrations.
  • Good eye-hand coordination for precision assembly and testing.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs when handling equipment.

  • IL Paid Leave for All Workers

An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

  • 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
