Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis in Fife, Washington. In this role, you will handle payroll processes for a mid-sized organization, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay and compliance with state and federal regulations. Your expertise in multi-state payroll and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now will be critical to the success of this position.
Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Manage multi-state payroll operations, staying compliant with varying state regulations.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to efficiently handle payroll tasks and maintain employee records.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure payroll data aligns with organizational records.
• Review and verify timesheets, deductions, and adjustments before processing payments.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
• Stay updated on changes in labor laws and payroll regulations to maintain compliance.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll processing and documentation.
• Support other payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed.• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing within a mid-sized organization (101-500 employees).
• Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll operations and compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and its functionalities.
• Familiarity with payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor compliance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for addressing employee concerns.
• Prior experience with payroll reporting and reconciliation processes.
