Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Document patient progress and clinical notes utilizing the facility's EMR system (Pro Doc)
- Float to the Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) unit as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Pro Doc EMR system
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including every other weekend
- Ability to float to LTACH unit as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) or similar inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with LTACH patient populations and care protocols
