Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver advanced radiation therapy treatments in a dynamic outpatient setting using cutting-edge Varian Truebeam and Aria technology. This role involves working in a busy department operating three machines daily, with a patient volume typically ranging from 60 to 100 per day. You'll provide essential care to ambulatory cancer patients requiring radiation therapy, playing a key role in their treatment and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
- Operate and maintain Varian Truebeam and Aria systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Valid BLS certification required
- Certified Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT-T) licensure mandatory
