Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract home health opportunity in Westminster, MD. In collaboration with a respected national home health agency, this role offers the chance to provide impactful, one-on-one care to patients in a supportive and close-knit community setting.
Contract Details:

- Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
- Duration: 13 Week Contract (Possibility of extension upon successful completion)
- Hours: Full-Time, Scheduled 40 hours per week - no guaranteed hours
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- On Call:Typically, one weekend per month
- Productivity: 25-32 per week, up to 35 patients per week
- Compensation: Negotiable directly with client based off experience, and territory budget; paid hourly - not by visit; blended pay packages available for travelers; weekly pay
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k
- Mileage: .48c visit to visit, 150-250 miles of travel expected
Requirements:
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS
- Minimum 1 year of field home health experience working with adult and geriatric patients
- Minimum 2 years of overall Registered Nurse (RN)experience
- Proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase required
- Oasis Certified strongly preferred, but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Compliance with Joint Commission onboarding upon offer
Job Duties:
- Utilize the Homecare Homebase system proficiently to efficiently manage patient documentation, including OASIS assessments, and coordinate care effectively.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans tailored to their needs, ensuring adherence to OASIS guidelines.
- Provide skilled nursing care in a home health setting, including wound care, medication administration, and patient education, while accurately documenting OASIS data points.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including therapists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Effectively communicate with patients and their families, addressing concerns, providing education, and offering necessary support throughout the care process.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including Medicare guidelines for OASIS documentation, and agency policies to uphold the highest standards of care delivery and patient safety.

Important Note: Due to this being a contract opportunity with no training, one year of experience and proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase are required for consideration.
