The Creative Space is looking for a graphic designer! Ideal candidates will bring a range of knowledge along with the desire to continue learning and growing. More than just being able to navigate design software, we are looking for a designer who is highly detail-oriented, able to bring thoughtful ideas to the table, and able to stay organized even when handling multiple projects with many moving parts. This is a full-time role, in-office.
Please note: At this time we are not able to accommodate candidates looking for fully remote work. All candidates are expected to be able to provide reliable transportation for themselves to and from the office. Applicants without portfolios will be disqualified from consideration for this role.
Design Duties:
- Design and organize multiple seasonal campaigns (within Canva)
- General design for print and digital applications
- Basic video editing (ex: cutting clips together, adding/removing audio, basic transitions and effects)
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions
Skills to Have:
- 3-5 years experience as a graphic designer
- Canva (Experience)
- Adobe Illustrator (Expert)
- Adobe Photoshop (Expert)
- Adobe InDesign (Expert)
- Adobe Premiere Pro (Expert)
- Excellent customer service
- Highly detail-oriented
- Able to work within tight deadlines
Bonus Skills:
- Motion graphics
- Monday.com platform experience
- Adobe After Effects experience
- Website building
- Previous agency experience
Job Specifics:
- 40 hrs/week with some overtime required throughout the year
- $34-$40/hr D.O.E.
- In-person in Whittier, CA
