Job DescriptionA client is seeking an experienced consultant to provide expert support with General Ledger (GL) mapping as they transition their payroll system. This includes deconstructing and understanding the existing GL setup in ADP, creating an accurate mapping framework, and collaborating with the client’s internal payroll team to ensure a seamless integration into the new payroll system. The consultant will work closely with the client’s team to address the complexities of this migration and ensure all financial reporting requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze the existing General Ledger (GL) structure and mapping within ADP to identify and document its quirks and nuances.
Deconstruct current GL mapping to develop a clear and accurate framework that can be used for subsequent mapping into the new payroll system.
Collaborate with the internal payroll team to understand their requirements and ensure the new mapping meets compliance, reporting, and operational needs.
Provide advisory support and guidance to help the team navigate any technical or operational challenges during the transition.
Create detailed documentation for all mapping conditions that will be transferred to the implementation team, ensuring sustainability and usability by the team post-implementation.
Work within the client’s timeline and provide timely solutions to meet the goal of rapid transition and implementation.

• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and financial data mapping.
• Familiarity with payroll systems, specifically ADP.
• Ability to create detailed and accurate documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical and operational challenges.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities to engage with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within strict timelines in a fast-paced environment.
