Job DescriptionTRC Talent is looking for a Warehouse Lead for our client in Piedmont, SC Job Details:
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- $25/hr+(based on experience)
- Temp to Hire
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and support day-to-day warehouse operations while assisting team members with priorities and workflow management.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely processing and delivery of materials.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely to move, load, unload, and stage products and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records through ERP systems.
- Verify incoming and outgoing materials for quality, quantity, and accuracy against shipping documentation.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Train and support warehouse employees on procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Work closely with production, shipping, and management teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Follow company safety guidelines and maintain compliance with all warehouse policies and procedures.
- Identify process improvements and help implement operational efficiencies where applicable.
Job Requirements:
- Previous warehouse leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid Forklift Certification (Sit-Down Forklift required).
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience using ERP systems, including NetSuite and Oracle required.
- Strong inventory control and material management experience.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, inventory records, and work orders.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with warehouse management systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial warehouse environments.
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and inventory management practices.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
