Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Laborer to assist our lead contractor on active building projects. This role is hands-on and requires a strong understanding of construction processes, tools, and safety practices.
This is a Monday-Friday position, 10 AM - 6 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the main contractor with daily construction tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
- Operate and maintain power tools and construction equipment.
- Prepare job sites, load/unload materials, and keep work areas clean.
- Follow instructions accurately and work efficiently as part of a team.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
- MUST have prior construction experience (this is not an entry-level position).
- Ability to read and understand schematics and building plans.
- Proficiency with power tools and general construction equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
- Good communication skills and ability to take direction.
Preferred:
- Experience working alongside a licensed contractor.
- Familiarity with multiple phases of construction.
