Job Description\n
American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and the ability to float to ER and Med Surg units.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 6:30 pm to 6:30 am
- Floating required to Emergency Room and Med Surg departments
- Care for critically ill patients, including those on ventilators and titratable drips
- Thirteen-week contract assignment
- Duties include managing critical and complex patient cases across ICU, ER, and Med Surg
- Must be able to handle high acuity and float between departments as needed
- RTO (time off) requests must be for less than one week
- Auto-offer process; interviews are not part of the hiring process
- First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active NM or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Experience in ER and Med Surg required
- TNCC certification preferred
- Experience with mechanical ventilation, titrating drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred
- No employment at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the last 2 years
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past year
- No local travelers within a 50-mile radius will be considered
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
