Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity includes both Extended School Year (ESY) and New School Year (NSY) assignments, letting you guide students through important stages of their academic journey.
The ESY session runs from June 8 to July 3, with morning hours from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday—ideal for enjoying your afternoons and maintaining work-life balance during the summer. The NSY portion is a full-time commitment, extending from August through the end of January, providing you with the opportunity to deeply connect and make a lasting difference with your students as part of their core educational supports.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid credential for Special Education teaching, appropriate for elementary-level instruction
- Prior experience working with students with a variety of special learning needs
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with families and support staff
- Dedicated, compassionate, and flexible approach to teaching
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering meaningful instruction and support to elementary-aged students on your caseload
- Creating and adapting curriculum and learning activities to individual needs
- Collecting data and monitoring progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
